Manila today has become a treat to other province, since only Manila benefited from the province’s wealth, can you imagine 70% of the province wealth goes to “Imperial Manila”, only 30% for the province improvement, that’s the reason why the province’s are always left behind by low economic growth, low infrastructure, while the Metro Manila continues to shine with pride thinking that the Philippines is hers. “Imperial Manila” adopts the puppy dog method, they continue to beautify itself to attract more workers, artist, investors.
How about us? Manila is too developed and has snub lots of region especially Mindanao and Visayas. That’s why many province wants to adopt federalism or worse, a separate country! They want this because Metro Manila is siphoning the province’s own resource, and greedily placed it for her own benefit.
“Imperial Manila”(not everyone) is insulting its neighbor’s like Cebu and looks down on them because of its language and start calling some of them ’syanos’, a word created by them which is a symbol of their racism to it’s neighbors, not thinking most people who live there are Bisaya!
Some people from Manila are so superficial about their culture, they think the Philippines belong to them. Some even boasted that they can survive without Mindanao and Visayas and some wanted those regions succeed because of the inhabitants complaining, really? Then if that happen Manila will fell like dust, because it will lose Visaya’s and Mindanao huge tourism indusry, which will a big slap in their face, when there are some province like Cebu and Davao capable of developing on its own without the governments help, and “Imperial Manila will be like a “stray dog” losing a huge percentage of it’s food industry.
There is even a research that some province like Cebu and Davao can survive in politics because people vote intelligent people not “celebrities!!!”. Hey, it’s time for the province’s to shine not just her. Manila is damage because of over-expansion of its place, it is now choked with crime and greedy politicians.
Ahaha…true indeed.
Gloria was about to make Cebu and the other provinces independent but guess what? The stupid oppositions keep on ranting and yapping like dogs.
The fact: 30% of our income from Cebu, Davao and the other provinces from the south goes to Manila.
